Former Flint Police Chief
- Former Chief of Police – City of Flint
- February 2016 through July 1, 2019 during the city of Flint worst man made environmental disaster in U.S history (the Flint water crisis), under my leadership, I was able to remove the city of Flint from being listed in 2016 as the 2nd highest crime rate city in the United States to being unlisted in July of 2019 in the top 30 to 40 cities for having the worse crime statistics. In May 2019 Flint was listed in the 120 most desirable cities in the United States to live.

- Patrolled assigned districts in patrol car on assignment for the purpose of observing the area for the possibility of criminal activity; Public safety, complaint investigation, law enforcement and maintained high visibility
- Investigated crimes, witness interviewing; Gathered physical evidence with preservation for court and follow up investigations as needed
- Enforced felony and misdemeanor laws of Michigan; Apprehended, arrested and detained criminal suspects and law violators when necessary; Followed proper protocol and procedures when making arrests
- Served warrants, summonses, subpoenas, civil and other official papers as requisite; Responded to emergency calls such as robberies, burglaries, kidnappings, assaults and murders; Practiced safety procedures in answering and responding to calls.
